Widjan

Widjan (pronounced Wih don) is a lovely 6 year old grey Mare who is a Cor de la Bryere granddaughter who is going to make a phenomenal eventer! She is a striking horse with fabulous looks, correct conformation, 3 wonderful gaits, and a spunky friendly personality that will win you over immediately! She is always the first horse in the field to greet you. She will walk the length of the field just to come and have you pet her.

Widjan (sometimes called Wiggles) LOVES jumping! She never gets too excited and will jump anything you put in front of her. The pictures below are of Widjan at her first cross country schooling. She jumped a novice XC course at Longview horse park and acted as if she had been doing it her whole life: no spooking, running away, or refusals. She had never seen any of these type of jumps before, as she had only jumped plain white poles between plain white standards. Nonetheless, she jumped into water, off ledges, across ditches, over logs, log cabins, rolled jumps, etc., etc., etc. with no hesitation at all.

Widjan has had excellent Dressage training! She accepts contact beautifully and can perform leg yields as well as turns on the forehand and haunches and even does flying lead changes. She has a laid back attitude that makes her very easy and fun to train and she learns things quickly and willingly. Because of her laid back attitude, Widjan is quite suitable for an amateur rider, a young rider, or a professional looking for an easy horse to bring up the levels. She has been ridden by professionals, adult amateurs and juniors. She is not spooky and loves trail rides! She is calm and willing to go anywhere. She trailers easily, stands for the farrier, bathes etc. Widjan will make a phenomenal eventer, lovely jumper, or wonderful lower level dressage horse.

Widjan is one of the most well rounded horses you will ever meet.

Widjan is a substantial horse standing 16.1 hands high.
