Pippin is an adorable 10 year old, 13 +/- hand pony gelding with unique black buckskin coloring.  What an adorable, personable little guy.  Although somewhat timid and shy at first, he is actually very friendly and sweet.  We’ve only had Pippin for about a year now and we don’t know much about his background, but we think he may have been a cart pony at one time.  He has a very beautiful and forward trot!

Pippin is very well-trained under saddle, very responsive to the leg and to a light hand, but because of his sensitive nature and forward gaits, he would be best suited to a small adult or perhaps an experienced older child.  He has also proven to be a very good trail horse.  He simply needs more time spent with him.
